![]() The Prodigy name has become synonymous with both value and performance and the new Prodigy SX carp is no exception. Don't be fooled by the price, the new Prodigy SX is slim, lightweight and well balanced but just as importantly has great reserves of power for punching leads or PVA bags out to the horizon. With all these increases in performances you would expect something to give, whilst in reality its actually even lighter than the original prodigy rod! The new ‘SX' really does set new standards in carp rod design and is set to become a firm favourite with many carp anglers for years to come.

![]() The X-FliteTM+ is perfect for achieving long distances (especially when using PVA bags and sticks). This is due to the faster tapered butt section with huge reserves of power. Just wind the rod up to unlock its true potential. The first two guides feature G-LiteTM double legged guides for extra durability. The rest of the guides are lightweight single legs and this is to aid tip speed recovery during the cast. The distinctive' Jet-black gloss finish is now dressed with a super-slim Fuji DPS 18mm reel seat. This will accept both large big pit reels and smaller-style reels. Nice finishing touches such as the red anodised collars and twin anodised laser-etched butt cap give the New X-FliteTM both a unique and distinct look. We are confident that distinctive looks and unparalleled performance are sure to set it apart from the crowd. The 50mm butt guide fitted to the X-Flite + 50 provides anglers with the perfect option for using large spool, big pit style reels. The larger ring helps reduce line friction to achieve extra distance. As on all our 50mm butt guides, the guide frame wire gauge width has been increased to ensure excellent durability.

![]() Brand new this year, the slimmest, lightest blank in the Greys carp range. First impressions last, but performance is proof. Take one look at the new Torsion carp rod and it's strikingly slim; pick the rod up and it's amazingly light and well balanced. Cast the rod and it becomes immediately apparent that the rod has massive reserves of power, more than happy with big leads and PVA bags yet surprisingly still has that all important feel under the rod tip during the crucial last moments of the fight. Gone are the days of super slim blanks that just don't perform; this time Greys have really pushed the limits of physics. For those anglers really wanting to hit the horizon there is a 50mm butt available on models 3lb and higher. In summary the new Greys Torsion is quite simply the slimmest, lightest and best performance carp that we have ever produced. That's some statement when you've been producing rods for over 40 years!
